A thank-you across the Atlantic.

We are collecting emergency-service patches from agencies across the region to send to Kinsale, Ireland, in thanks for the remembrance of the 343 firefighters lost on September 11.

The collection honors the Kinsale Fire Rescue team that maintains the gardens and the family of the woman who founded them. Messages of gratitude, remembrance, and support are part of that tribute too.

I was working at the American Red Cross collecting blood that day
The one plane apparently flew right over us and we didn't know it!
I wast to thank all the people who poured through our doors over the week. Also the staff who worked until we dropped..
